Apology and Notice Regarding Possible Leakage of Customer Information

We would like to inform you that the login ID and password for our facility (Rembrandt Cabin Shinjuku Shin-Okubo, hereafter referred to as "our facility"), which is operated by TL Lincoln, an accommodation reservation management system provided by Seanuts Co., Ltd. and which we use, has been leaked and unauthorized access has been made by a third party, resulting in the leakage of personal information of customers who have used and booked at our facility.

We sincerely apologize to our customers and other related parties for the inconvenience and concern caused.

It has come to our attention that a third party may have gained unauthorized access to the system we use to manage hotel reservations by using the login ID and password for this facility.

At this time, we have received reports from the system manufacturer that they have found no traces of cyber-attacks or virus infections. Our facility is also currently investigating the possibility of a computer virus infection. The personal information that may have been leaked is that of customers who made reservations via an overseas booking site.

Details of personal data that has been or may be leaked

Target Audience :Customers who have made reservations, changes to, or cancellations of reservations made via overseas booking sites for stays between June 30, 2024 and January 30, 2025

Information Type :Name of person making reservation, name of guest, telephone number, e-mail, age, gender, information related to accommodation, etc.

※Personal information that may have been leaked does not include credit card information.

Future Actions

We will take measures such as reporting the incident to government agencies, deleting login IDs where unauthorized access was confirmed, and strengthening system security within our company.

We ask that all customers be extremely cautious about receiving unfamiliar SMS messages, emails, and fake sender names.

In the future, please be cautious of direct mail or fraudulent phone calls that may lead you to believe that we are the sender. In all other cases, please delete the email without opening any attachments or clicking on any URLs in the text.
